This is your chance to win up to 100 solar cells in our Karoo Fresh solar + storage project, and have solar-powered money streamed into your (digital) wallet every single month for the next 20 years!

It’s also an opportunity to be part of solar powering the uniquely impactful Karoo Fresh project, which sets a model for how innovation and clean energy can enable resilient, climate-proof agriculture.

In addition, on behalf of the first-prize winner, Sun Exchange will make a donation of 150 solar cells to our charity partner, African Parks, in support of its work to conserve some of the world’s most delicate and crucial wildlife areas.

Here is a breakdown of the contest will work:

Each Karoo Fresh solar cell you purchase on the Sun Exchange platform between 7 April 2022 at 1:00 p.m. CET and 30 April at 12:00 p.m. CET, gets you one entry into the contest. That means the more cells you buy, the better your chance of winning.

After the promotion closes, Sun Exchange will conduct a random drawing to determine the lucky first, second and third place winners.

1. The first place winner gets 100 solar cells in the Karoo Fresh solar project, valued at ZAR 15,700 (USD $1,068.57*). Additionally, 150 solar cells valued at ZAR 23,550 ($1,598.48*) will be donated to African Parks on the winner’s behalf.
2. The second place winner gets 35 solar cells in the Karoo Fresh solar project, valued at ZAR5,495.00 (USD $374.00*)
3. The third place winner gets 15 solar cells in the Karoo Fresh solar project valued at ZAR 2,355.00 (USD $160.29*)
